Mark

I am the Owner and President of AKB and have worked for AKB since its inception in 2009. I started building in Delaware in 1991 and prior to Delaware I remodeled residential and commercial projects since 1983.

My passion has always been to create and build things, whether that be homes, remodeling projects, boats or other items that make people happy. Influenced by my Scandinavian heritage and engineering degree, I have always sought to find simplistic and efficient solutions to our client’s dilemmas.

In my spare time I enjoy anything that has to do with the water or building something. I am either out on the water with my family and friends or building something in my workshop.

Besides being recognized as “Best Dad Ever” by my kids (at least that is what the coffee cup says), I was “Delaware’s Builder of the Year in 2011.
